Quality and food safety are at the heart of everything we do. Our Quality Policy Statement sets out how we approach it, and two independent accreditations hold us to it.
Accreditation
Rydges Wholesale Foods is HACCP accredited through Compass Assurance Services. HACCP — Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point — is a science-based, systematic approach to identifying and managing food safety hazards, and the accreditation reflects a robust food safety management system in daily use.
Accreditation
We are accredited by Safe Food Production Queensland, which means our food safety program and management statement meet the requirements of the Food Safety Schemes for the products we handle.
What it means for you
Every line we deliver is stored, picked and transported under a documented food safety program, from the cold rooms at Tingalpa to your dock. Our vehicles are refrigerated and our people are trained in the program they work to.
